“ Memorable authentic Mexican experience. All food we ordered were enjoyable: mazapan horchata, freshly-made- from -scratch table side guacamole, chimichanga ahogada birria, trio enchiladas. Music was too loud, but then it was turn down. Come early to avoid long wait. Sarah was very attentive and friendly. ”

We made a reservation through Yelp (super quick and easy), which turned out to be smart since it was Mexican Mother’s Day (May 10th) and the place was hopping. We came for brunch and started with the mini chimis — I got the variety plate with bean & cheese, chicken tinga, and birria. All were good, but the chicken tinga was next-level delicious. For my main dish, I ordered the beef birria chimichanga ahogada, and it was rich, flavorful, and perfectly sauced. Drink-wise, I’m on a Carajillo kick lately, so I had to try theirs — and it did not disappoint! I also sampled the Organic Fresh Sandia Margarita, which was light, fruity, and super refreshing. Everything from the service to the presentation was on point. I’d absolutely return — this spot is a gem and a must-visit if you’re in Tucson. #VamosALaChingada ”
